Kristin LaBelle has been personal training since 2007, is ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified and is the co-owner of
Fit 4 U! fitness center in Mt. Pleasant, MI. She has a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in education and received her personal training certification from Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts & Sciences in Grand Rapids MI.

Her personal fitness passion is running. She has been running since 1993, has completed countless road races as well as 5 marathons including the Boston Marathon in 2009 which she qualified for in Detroit in 2008 with a time of 3:46:52.
She completed 24 hours of instruction in
AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) in 2008 from Aaron Mattes at the University of Michigan.
AIS is one of the methods
of stretching most used by today's athletes, massage therapists,
personal/athletic trainers, and professionals.

Stretching allows the body to repair itself and also to prepare

involves the method of holding each stretch for only two seconds. This

Kristin has also completed
TRX Suspension Training course. TRX is a unique piece of equipment that allows you to get a total body workout using all your own body weight. The very nature of this workout is core strength. The TRX is used in both personal training and group fitness classes.
